Executive Summary The packaged concept “Spring’s Golf Solutions” will be a higher learning experience that students will be able to apply to all aspects of the great game of golf. A highly efficient and disciplined approach to strategically created learning modules would enable classes to be more frequent and create more traffic for Golf Courses from eager-to-learn students. Currently, there is no other golf facility that offers this approach and a complete package that integrates both seminars and digital learning. The effective use of digital presentations to accompany the oral presentation and demonstration will enable a wider range of skills based on the “Psychology” concept. Seminars would run once a month on a consistent basis attracting classes up to 200 people. Spring’s solutions for golf will encompass and outline the mandatory learning stages, and will show his pupils the progression necessary to reach the highest levels in the game. Once you understand the theory, you can apply it to any sport. People will walk away from the results focused Seminars with a whole new attitude about improving their game and how they look at golf. The “Spring Golf Solutions” student will learn how golf is much more than a sport, but an experience that permeates through all levels of the human experience. The basic philosophy and approach is that, “Golf is a game that challenges both the person’s intellect and physical nature, where improvement relies on the willingness to continuously learn, practice and move forward.” Todd Spring is excited to bring his 18 years of golf experience, and 12 years of teaching experience to the University Golf Club Teaching Programs. During his time as a CPGA instructor, Todd has been dedicated to providing his students with the most memorable and informative learning experience. Todd’s commitment to excellence and vision of becoming a well respected mentor of the game, started by earning his degree from the San Diego Academy of Golf, and becoming an asset to his College Golf Team, during which time he posted his lowest tournament round of 66, -6 and 1st Place. One of Todd’s most memorable and enlightening experiences was caddying in several PGA events, for Mark Omera and Raymond Floyd. Todd’s aspirations as a Member of the CPGA has always been, to share his experiences, by introducing and educating people of all levels and ages, to aspects of the great game of golf, as they will help them develop long lasting relationships and values that will be beneficial throughout everyday life. Spring Golf Solutions is currently building a marketing plan for 2003. The school will be the first to incorporate Seminars, Web Sites, CD ROMS, Presentations and Training for all students from beginners to experts. Revenue will come from entrance fees to seminars, CD ROM sales for each skill level (updates for a fee, download from the web site or order CD) and Corporate Sponsorships. Furthermore, the online and CD ROM learning modules will come translated into Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Spanish and Italian. Extensive international cross culture marketing will target golf resorts and education distribution channels, generating additional revenue streams. The school is looking for funding of $1,000,000 to begin marketing and developing the school to attract students. Money will be allocated for marketing/advertising, media relations, start-up costs, web site development, brochures, trade show booth, future planning, and development of a permanent facility for year round lessons. |
